The Goat has been personally run by Richard and Alyson for the past twenty years and has a reputation for the best food and well kept real ales. Originally built as a coaching inn during the 17th century, there is a long history of hospitality.
From here you can explore the beautiful Montgomeryshire borderlands with its many tourist attraction. The Welshpool and Llanfair steam railway is five minutes walk away and Powis castle is 9 miles to the east. We have five letting bedrooms, three of which have private bathroom, television telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. We welcome families and have a large family suite available. Curl up in a large leather sofa in front of a real fire during the winter months or eat al freso on our sunny patio during the summer. Car parking is available and free and we are open all day everyday.
