Situated in the northern most point of the Brecon Beacons National Park which is over 500 square miles of unspoilt countryside. There are wonderful opportunities for hill walking, riding, hang-gliding, cycling or just relaxing and watching the wildlife.
It is in a spectacular location at the foot of Hay Bluff just off the Gospel Pass-the second highest road in Wales-which leads to Capel-y-ffyn and the renowned Llanthony Valley.
[Man-made pleasures are plentiful, but it's the natural ones that are rare.]
Accomodation includes porch and utility room with freezer, well equipped fitted kitchen with oil rayburn, electric double oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, separate dining area.
Sitting room with electric wood- burning effect stove, TV [reception poor], video, CD and radio. Shed available for bikes.

The world renowned Book town of Hay-on-Wye has over 30 second hand book shops, craft centre, galleries, antique shops and usual amenity shops and banks. The numerous restaurants and quaint old pubs offer superb local cooking during the day and evening.
