Enjoy a peaceful holiday in rural Montgomeryshire. The cottage has three bedrooms (wash hand basin in one bedroom)two double beds, and two single beds, plus cot available, sleeping a max of 6 persons. The bed linen is included and beds made up. The bathroom is downstairs, which includes a shower over bath. Lounge/dining room with original oak beams, exposed. The cottage has an open inglenook fireplace (logs and coal extra) storage heaters throughout. Fitted kitchen with all usual appliances. The cottage is situated approx 9 miles Newtown and Welshpool. The area has many local attractions including Powys Castle, Montgomery Castle, and Dolforwyn Castle. The Steam Railway at Welshpool/ Llanfair Caereinion. Easy travelling distances to the Lakes and Mountains of Mid Wales. Some beautiful wild-life areas run by the Montgomery Wildlife Trust. RSPB site also local. There are many interesting market towns in this region all worthy of a visit. Interesting garden centres for those with green fingers! Smoking is allowed outside cottage, and pets are by arrangement please.
