Badger, foxes, pheasants, red kite, woodpeckers and rabbits are just a few of the local residents you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of.
Above the farm is Llandefalle Common, a lovely area for walking, where sheep and ponies wander through the bracken and buzzards can be seen soaring high above. On a clear day the view from the common can extend through the Wye Valley as far as the Malvern Hills. The peace and tranquillity of this quiet but very accessible location provides an ideal base whether your priority is relaxation or active exploration of the surrounding, unspoilt countryside. There is plenty to do and see in the area, Pony Trekking, climbing, canoeing, gliding, golf, canal trips museums, mountain railway, caves and museums, or just simply relax in the large garden.
