Close by is the site of King Arthur's reputed last battle, which is closed to the old coach road leading to the village. The remains of of the old railway branch to Minllyn is also only a few steps away at Meirion Mill, once the terminus for Edwardians visiting Snowdonia by steam. (The entire area is a railway enthusiast's paradise and above the village are the remains of an old inclined plane rail link).
Furnished to a high standard, Stable cottage provides every comfort with electric cooker, fridge,freezer washer/dryer, microwave, television, video player, and radio/CD. All linen is provided, except towels. Excellent off road parking, patio and garden area. Well behaved dog welcomed.
